Forget

I can hardly breathe when the time comes when you are with me
Looking into my heart with your beautiful eyes that pierce through my soul
Only you make me feel so happy, but lost
Vanity tries to sneak inside, but I found a way to hide it all
Every time you remind me that there is someone worth more than you
You keep me walking to the one that I should
Opening my eyes and I just can see the bright sun
Underneath the quiet face you use everyday
Draining the life from me
Everything you do is too much for me
All that I could look for is too small to compare with this I've found.
Remember me; I miss your warm arms around me.

Broken Mirrors

Sometimes we think the good thing is right,
But when the time comes, it’s more than a fright
I wish I knew the answers, but sadly I don’t
Times get hard for me, but for others they won’t.

If I could try
Nothing I would say, would prevent you from dying away
Something is all I ask for, something I could do.
I wish I could do more than nothing for you.
Dresses are beautiful, but are you underneath
Every time you’re in my eyes, it gets harder to breathe.

My mind cracked the glass in the mirrors
Eventually I hope to see everything clearer.

Incidentally I can’t be the thing that’s near her.

And what can I do?
May I finally get near to you?

Brush it all off, there’s no need to hurt
Remember the days on end, and all that it’s worth.
Open your eyes and maybe it will be better
Knowing what is slowing my eyes at the first letter
Enter my mind and hear what I’ve spoken
Now the mirrors are near, and sadly they’ve broken.

Dear, Father

What happened to the light in the sky
It’s like all our faith disappears at night
Bleeding is your cure to the pain, but it doesn’t have to be
My eyes are lost in the things I shouldn’t see, I just need someone to come and pray for me.

Dear one I love,
Why do we kill ourselves?
We both know that there is a God out there, but somehow we forget
We say we are done, when still at the end of the road, all we have is regret.
I think that we never truly are done, but pray when we wake up
The desires will be gone.

My brother, he hides the tears in his eyes
On the inside he is already dead,
I am not invincible, and I can’t forget
How could this happen, how can my fears turn to life?

My brother,
Why do we hide these tears?
I might look like a man, but we can cry.
We say it doesn’t hurt, but let’s be open for the first time.
I think we say we’re ok, whenever we’re not, and pray when we wake up
That it won’t be the same.

I know I’m not a man, but maybe I pray
That by tomorrow I’ll choose to live another day
I’m hurting inside from this, God
Be the man I can’t ever be.
To my brother
To my love
Hold them, wrap them
I never want to leave you father,
I never want you to leave.

Let me cry…
Let me cry…

Don't Look at Me

All I am is weakness.

He is all my strength.

Sadly, I will say this,
but show a different thing.

Look at me and know,
that I am not my own,

That I have fallen badly,
and won't be fixing bones.

Know I'll let you down -
I'm not much on my own.

There's something in me, though,
a saving grace and a home.

No matter if I get it right,
or slip and screw it up,

I'm safe in arms that cover me -
they'll never give me up.

So look at me in any way,
but never see me there

All I am and all I've got,
and all that isn't there,

It's all to Jesus,
ya, all my dust

Cuz when I fail,
He does not.

Is This Me? (Disgusted face)

Scary?... o.o

Scary!? ...

Everyone knows me but me.
Where did I go?
Who is this in my body?
Lord, bring her back,
the me I was,
and fill me with your Spirit
and love.
give me wisdom to understand
Whoever you are,
Whoever I am.

Make me who I'm gonna be,
filled with your own gory.
Sorry that I'v lost myself,
and thought I'd somehow catch myself.
It's been so long
I've com so far
and me, who I was,
she's disappeared.

Is all hope lost?
am I too far gone?
I'm not dead yet..
and change has begun..

I believe you're there.
I know I'm somewhere.
and the more I'm in you
the more I'll be here.

So nearer, nearer,
Lord, to me.
I need you.
I'm just asking, plz

There is an end to loneliness

There is an end

to loneliness.

If you want it,
Go find it.
It's there,
Just go looking,
It's out there and calling.

Don't tell them they're wrong

they'll listen with ears.
When they hear,
in they're hearts,
they'll believe it and cheer.

That's when thy'll look,
and mean what they say -
when they look,
with their hearts,
for LEADING.
and pray.

An end to loneliness,
sought out with faith,
and hope -
and more found,
will be found out,
one day.

Running Deeper Down

Why do I see what I do see,
and close my eyes to beauty?
And why do I look for what I look,
knowing it's gonna kill me?
Slowly, slowly, dead inside,
I know what's smart,
but no, I hide.
I kill myself a bit each day,
and think it's gonna be ok.
Running from the shaming truth,
and running to my death, I do.
It seems alright, but then it don't.
Why did I ever board this boat?
I never should have sipped the drink.
Forever now, I feel, I'll sink.
The brink of death is close at hand.
(To think - it started with a band) O.o
On and on, and deeper in.
I never thought to think again.
Saving is a need of mine,
but who would ever be so kind?
I pushed away all help that day,
and always said, "It's all ok!"
I push myself, keep falling through.
I try to stop, but never do.
Just lift me up, and give me wings!
I don't want all the grief I bring.
I can not do it, and I won't,
so do it all, and give me hope.
